AUTOLUX ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM, "PUSSY'S DEAD"

Los Angeles indie rock veterans Autolux have announced that a new album will be released some time this coming spring. This will be their third record and it comes six years after 2010’s Transit Transit. Though the trio have been on a hiatus in recent years, the band members have kept busy with other projects…guitarist Greg Edwards has spent the last year and a half in the successful reboot of ninetie’s favourites, Failure, while drummer Carla Azar played on both of Jack White’s solo records and also logged some time touring with his band.

Pussy’s Dead will be released via Danger Mouse’s new label, 30th Century Records, and was recorded with Beyonce collaborator, Boots. You can hear the first single, “Soft Scene”, now.

The band will play the Coachella Festival in April and their North American tour starts Mar 10th in Phoenix.
