JUNE OF 44 ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM

Hot on the heels of their re-issues announcement, June of 44 now have a new record to promote...sort of. On August 7th, Revisionist: Adaptations and Future Histories in the Time of Love and Survival will arrive courtesy of Broken Clover Records, and though it features newly recorded music, the songs are actually just fresh takes on the band’s last LP, 1999’s Anahata. Revisionist features remixes courtesy of Matmos and John McEntire (who also mixed the record) and was recorded by David Lenci at Oakland, CA’s Survivor Sound. The original lineup of Jeff Mueller, Sean Meadows, Fred Erskine, and Doug Scharin remain intact for the new recording and recent live shows.
